Month to month. Cancel anytime. One awarded job pays for a full year.

One permit. Two ways to act on it.

Here's a real filing from this week's Raleigh data.

New Single Family Residence — 2,400 sqft

Issued Aug 5

GC: Hidden on free

Phone: Hidden on free

You get the address, but not the decision-maker. That leaves door-knocking, mailers, or hoping you spot the job site before it breaks ground.

Pro

New Single Family Residence — 2,400 sqft

Issued Aug 5

GC: Carolina Custom Builders LLC

Phone: (919) 555-0142

Reach out first. You already have the GC and a working number, while competitors are still driving around looking for the site.

$199 / mo

One closed job covers the rest.

For most contractors, landing just one permit-backed project pays for Pro many times over. Every win after that is pure upside.

What's included

Contractor names and phone numbers

The GC listed on the permit, with the number they answer. No lookup, no guessing at LLC names.

All 5 metro markets

Every permit we track across Charlotte, the Triangle, the Triad, Wilmington and Asheville, not one ZIP. Filter by city, permit type, or project value. More cities are coming soon.

CSV delivery

Get each day's list as a spreadsheet (CSV), up to 5,000 permits, ready for Excel or your CRM. Or both, alongside the email.

Daily filings, not just weekly

New permits every morning as the permit offices publish them, so you're calling before the Monday list even goes out.

Project value and square footage

Where the permit office publishes them, sort by declared value to spend your callbacks on the jobs worth bidding.

Send it where your team works

Point the daily list at a shared inbox, so your estimators and PMs work the same leads. Need separate logins? Ask us about team seats.

Every other TarSignal product

Contractor name, phone and license on every Permit Map pin, Permit Search including the last 30 days, and Material Leads — all part of TarSignal Pro.

Permit Pulse analytics

Coverage and volume heatmaps by metro, where each trade concentrates, volume/job-size trends, and a contractor leaderboard — know where to focus before you spend a callback.

Common questions

Where do the phone numbers come from?

From the permit record itself: the contractor of record filed with the city or county. Where the permit lists a license number, we also match it against the state contractor licensing board's records. We clean and check the format of each number before it reaches your list.

Is there a free trial?

No, Pro bills when you sign up. But if it isn't for you, email us within 7 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full. It's month to month with no contract, and you can cancel anytime.

What if there aren't enough projects in my area?

Look before you pay: the Permit Map and Permit Search are free and show what's been filed near you. If you're still unsure, tell us your trade and area and we'll tell you honestly whether the filings there support it.

I'm not on the free list yet. Where do I start?

Start with the free weekly list: one ZIP, no card. When you want contractor names, phone numbers, the newest permits and CSV delivery, move up to Pro.
